Ritualism is the study of strange customs and behavior of different cultures.  The term "Ritualism" often refers to the practice of these customs, but AOIS uses it to refer to the study.  Rather than food, music, religion, etc., ritualism focuses on odd rituals, customs, and other traditions of lesser known parties.  For example, the Frakkamanish (a quite unknown group) would make daily sacrifices to their Sheep God, Uzbaki.

Ritualism is perhaps the most obscure of the AOIS departments.  Many ritualism theories and groups are entirely legends, and employees not only study these groups but form their own opinions and beliefs as well.  It takes a true ability to believe the unbelievable in order to study ritualism.

Here at the Ritualism department, we take trips to ritualistic places, such as Stonehenge (see above).  Using ancient journals, drawings, and other records, we study and confirm strange customs.  We've even partnered with Mythbusters to "bust" some wacky legends!
