"Doodles" refers to any mixed breed dog that is part poodle.  Doodles include labradoodles, golden doodles, schnoodles, and westipoos.  Most doodles, depending on the type, have a thick and fluffy coat.  Since poodles have hair, not fur, all doodles are hypoallergenic.  Doodles are good companions and great dogs for the family.  Depending on the poodle that was bred to make your doodle, doodles can be anywhwere from "toy" sized to "standard" sized, in poodle measurements.

Now that you've learned a bit about doodles, it's time to get into our Doodleology department.  Rather than studying doodles using computers or books, AOIS traditionally takes trips to visit them.  As a doodleologist at AOIS, you may visit homes, shelters, puppy farms, etc. to visit different doodles.  You'll also learn the basics of canines in general - we especially focus on breeding and why puppy farms, etc. are bad ideas.

Over 50 doodle breeders throughout the United States generously donate 5 to 20 percent of their proceeds to the Doodleology.
